About this event
On the 18th and 19th of October, the Recinto Ferial de Ibiza will host a new edition of the “Trobada de Pobles”, an event that has already established itself as one of the most eagerly awaited celebrations of the Ibizan autumn. The event, organised by the Consell d'Eivissa, will bring together ten regional houses and cultural associations that will share their traditions, typical costumes and gastronomy, offering a tour of the cultural diversity that coexists on the island.
Among the participating entities will be associations from Cantabria, the Dominican Republic, Brazil, Tahiti, Bolivia, the Philippines, Valencia and Paraguay, together with the Coro de la Hermandad Rociera choir and the Federació de Colles de Ball i Cultura Popular d'Eivissa, which will represent local tradition with a stand dedicated to folklore, popular music and Ibizan roots.
Throughout the weekend there will be musical and folkloric performances, a children's leisure area and a wide range of international dishes to sample from 1pm to 3.30pm. Saturday's events will begin at 10am, with the official opening at 10.30am, while on Sunday the activities will take place from 10am to 6pm. Free entrance.
